I would like to describe myself as humble, bubbly, and hard-working.
Appreciation for Life’s Journey:
I appreciate everything in life for all that it provides for me. During my elementary years, my family lived in a higher-class neighborhood. However, as we transitioned to middle school, we found ourselves in a different environment, facing the challenges of a lower socioeconomic class. This shift made me incredibly mindful and grateful for everything in my present. I realized that one’s socio-economic status does not determine the respect they deserve.
Navigating Social Dynamics:
I can come off as shy initially, but I find myself very outgoing in one-on-one conversations. I love learning about other people’s interests, and even if we don’t share common ground, I find it fascinating to delve into people’s stories.
The Hardworking Ethos:
The value of hard work has been ingrained in my genetics. My immigrant parents briefly owned businesses in the U.S., a trait passed down to my older sisters, two of whom are dedicated nurses, having endured the rigorous demands of nursing school. My sister, two years my senior, is currently pursuing a doctorate in psychology. Witnessing everyone around me working towards a financially stable future has motivated me to do the same. As I navigate the challenges of pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, I’ve come to understand that the path may not be easy, but I believe that nothing worthwhile in life ever comes effortlessly.
