My freshman year, I was forced to take the CliftonStrengths assignment. These were my top three strengths.
While this was not worth the price, I found the results to be pretty interesting. Surely it must be more accurate if we had to pay. Overall, I think I would describe myself as optimistic, independent, and thoughtful. I try not to let things affect me too much. I feel like even though I’m hopeful, I’m a pretty realistic person. If someone cries to me, I empathize with them. BUT I know I tend to look for ways to solve whatever issue they have then provide emotional support. Growing up, I felt like I only had myself at the end of the day. Thus, I want to be self-sufficient and capable of not only fending for myself but protecting those I care about as well.
I feel like I live by the mottos: “It is what it is” and “it can be one day or day one”
