My family and I visited Gopchang Story on the day I moved back to Northeastern. This restaurant is known to specialize in beef intestine barbeque which is cool because you usually don’t come across a KBBQ restaurant that serves beef intestines. When we walked in, we had to wait for a good half-hour due to the limited seating. The best part of the restaurant visually is the seats because they have a storage for bags when you lift up the seat cover. I realized that I actually wasn’t a big fan of intestines mid-way through eating intestines. Perhaps it was because Gopchang Story only sells beef intestine dishes; therefore, I’ve only been eating those quite a lot. However, it was the texture that really got me for certain. The texture is very chewy, and the restaurant stuff large intestines with fat which makes up most of the flavor. I didn’t find eating fatty parts as enjoyable as my family or friends do. Gopchang Story’s seafood pancake is my personal favorite because of its crispiness and the abundance of seafood that was in it. If you enjoy like trying new things or have an open appetite, then definitely try out Gopchang Story.
