I just woke up and I had the weirdest dream.
I was at a shopping mall with three of my friends (call them A, B, and C). And so we were in the middle of shopping and we thought we should move our car closer to the exit of the mall in the parking lot. So B and C continue looking through the aisles of the store while I go with A to relocate the car.
After starting the engine, we realize that the car ran out of gas so we decided to go to the nearest gas station. Everything was pretty normal up until we exit the gas station. So we were driving on the freeway, trying to exit to go back to the shopping mall but then google maps kept rerouting and telling us that it was not a valid exit. After the 3rd or 4th time, A got ANNOYED and decided to just turn and exit.
The next thing that flashed before me was that we were going down a oneway ramp where cars were coming right at us and A was trying to turn the car in sort of a circle so that we would be going back the correct way as the rest of the cars were going. A failed and so we end up driving off the cliff.
I looked out the window and there were so many trees below us and I thought to myself I was going to die. I was panicking, breathing really quickly, grabbing onto the safety handles, my seatbelt, and then I looked at A was like we are fineeeeeee. SOMEHOW we ended up driving on the side of the mountain/cliff, highkey falling, but also somehow managing to hang on and continue traveling.
I scream at A telling him to drive faster so that we can get off the cliff and back onto the freeway and so he picks up the speed. We did not make it back onto the freeway but we were so close. It was like right above our heads and then we start falling.
The car frame mysteriously disappeared but the seats A and I were sitting on were still there, and the steering wheel was also there. But then this rope appears and connects us / tieing our wrists together. And we were falling really really really slow. We ended up falling gracefully into a meadow with nice flowers. We see smoke in the sky so we ditch the car and walk through the meadow towards the smoke. We parched away these two branches and we ended up on a weird metal staircase and when we looked down we see people!! The weird metal stairs continued above us and below us.
A goes to talk to them to ask where we are / how to get back. The people tell us that if we just continue going up the stairs for six months, we would make it back to where we come from. I was like six months? Where is the nearest airport, let me fly back.
I don’t remember what happens next but this was the best sleep I got during spring break even though I had this weird dream of almost dying.
