According to the Oxford Dictionary, pet peeve is defined as “ something that a particular person finds especially annoying.” For some people, that thing could be small, while others may have something bigger in mind.
Like most people, I have multiple pet peeves. Not because I hate society, but rather because I grew up different from everyone else. But one of my biggest pet peeves is people being very late to something. I don’t mind people being a little bit late, but when they show up 30 minutes late, then I start to wonder what they were doing before. This is especially true when I have something planned after. For instance, having class one hour after the supposedly lunch with my friend.
As time progresses, I find that some of my pet peeves naturally go away. But, I also find that new ones take their place. It is only a matter of time that a different pet peeve would annoy me the most.
