A Saturday like no other!

Why don’t we start at 10:00 am est Saturday? My typical Saturday starts around 10:00-11:00 am. I usually sleep pretty late on a Friday night, resulting in waking up late the next day. I tend to stay in bed for about 30 minutes after being awake to just scroll on my phone through insta and snap. After getting bored, I freshen up and get ready to start my day. My roommate made me breakfast this Saturday which I thought was really nice. It was nothing too fancy but the effort and thought made it touching. As we ate our hashbrowns and scrambled eggs, we talked about what our plans were for the day. We agreed to go grocery shopping because we ran out of rice and other groceries! Lacking this necessity, we headed out to Jiaho Supermarket in Chinatown and stopped by Ho Yuen Bakery to pick up some pastries. Keep in mind, it was freezing! When we got back home, I studied a little before heading over to a friend’s place to have dinner. We had takeout from Spicy World and cooked dumplings and jajangmyeon. As we ate and chatted, time flew and we decided to head back to my place to watch a movie. We watched Raya and The Last Dragon, a Disney original. The night ended with much joy and good food. Now don’t think I do this every Saturday! On other weekends, you can find me at Snell studying but I love eating good food so I always make time to go out.
