What a weekend

This past weekend was President’s Day weekend so we had Monday off. Sunday (2/20) and Monday (2/21) were probably the most memorable moments of my life: I got to see celebrities two days in a row.

Sunday was ASU’s A Night with Ellen and Brian. I had the honor and privilege to be their MC for the night. They were so pretty and I still couldn’t believe we were able to invite them to Boston. We also coincidentally matched outfits (it’s the LA vibes). The student performers did really great as well! A lot of the people who came were super hyped over their performance and during the meet and greet. They also recorded videos of them doing a dance with Ellen and Brian. Also, one of the questions during the Q&A session asked Brian to freestyle. He posted that video on his Instagram, and I WAS IN THAT VIDEO. I am now on Brian’s Instagram. He also liked my comment on that post<3.

Monday was Eric Nam’s concert, and it was also my first concert ever. It was at the House of Blues so I’m glad it was a walking distance. I was kind of worried that I wouldn’t have been able to see the stage well because I got balcony tickets but it was actually not that bad, especially for the price. The opener by Audrey Mika was amazing. I’ve never heard of her before but her vocals and stage performance were superb. As soon as Eric Nam stepped foot on that stage, I immediately shed tears. I don’t know why but I think I was just super happy that I got to see a celebrity I’ve been following for so long. His “TED talks” were really funny and honestly, those were probably my favorite parts of the concert. Eric’s personality shines through the stage and overall, this concert was an awesome experience.

It’s been almost a week since these happened, but I’m still not over it. I don’t even know if I can. I can’t believe those two events happened back to back. If I wasn’t in school, I would have just been in bed repeating everything that happened in my head during that weekend.
