Feeling Homesick

This past weekend for President’s Day, I went back home. It was super nice to be back home — or almost just off campus for just a couple of days. The train ride is definitely not my favorite. But being able to see my parents again makes me really happy. I definitely feel more homesick this semester than last semester. I think part of it has to be that my classes do feel a little easier. So, all my attention isn’t just focused on schoolwork. Coming back to campus this past week was a little hard. However, I reminded myself that spring break is just around the corner — in just two weeks. In just two weeks, I’ll be on that train again. In two weeks, I’ll be able to see my parents and brother again.
