The Time I Snuck Out

What you will be reading is a short story/rant of what happened earlier this week:

My whole family was on our way back from New Jersey when my dad turned on the radio in our car. We were jamming to Christmas music as my sister was taking her music theory class in the seat next to me. We were literally waiting for Thanksgiving because of the fest, but also because after Thanksgiving day, there are Christmas carols blasting everywhere we go! When we got back home, my sister and I wanted some dried persimmons from the market so we decided to take an adventure without our parents knowing at 1 am. When we got into the car and I turned on the engine, the radio started to blast. We were trying to turn the radio off but no matter which button we click on, it would not turn off. I even tried to turn off the whole system, but it did not fix anything. We just plugged in my phone, and jammed to some IU. But when I plugged my phone out, the radio started to blast again. It was very annoying. We just gave up and tippy-toed into the house, making sure we were not making any noise, but turns out my dad did not even know we left, and we still don’t know how to turn the radio off till this day.
