Summer study spots!

For many of us taking summer classes, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite study spots!

  1.  AAC both Ell Hall and Hemenway
    1. Pros
      1. It’s quiet and peaceful in the individual study rooms
      2. You can make yourself some tea or coffee
      3. Great environment to just relax and spend time with friends too!
    2. Cons
      1. Closes early around 4pm and doesn’t open on the weekends
  2. East Village Basement classrooms
    1. Pros
      1. Super quiet and cold (perfect for the summer heat)
      2. Lot’s of tables so perfect for group studies
    2. Cons
      1. No service!!!
      2. Does get creepy at night when you’re alone
      3. Not a lot of outlets
  3. ISEC
    1. Pros
      1. Lot’s of nice study areas on each floor
      2. Kitchen area to heat up your food or cook
      3. First floor classrooms are sometimes available
      4. View outside is also pretty
    2. Cons
      1. Popular study spot so you have to get to it quickly
      2. Some spots have low tables that aren’t the best for studying
  4. Khoury College of Science Building (esp. floor 2 lounge area)
    1. Pros
      1. accessible by anyone
      2. View outside is very pretty
      3. Super quiet and cold
