After my intramural hadn’t been able to make the first two volleyball games that we had, we finally went to our very first game yesterday night at Marino. 2/4 of our team’s players hadn’t played volleyball before, and it was just our luck that we were against one of the best teams in the league. Needless to say, despite some good efforts on our parts, we lost miserably and horrible and barely managed to score three points. I’m proud of us for trying though. I’m especially proud of our team members that had not played before but we were putting in good effort. I want to definitely try to get better at volleyball. At the end of the day, we had fun, and after I watched a Studio Ghibli movie that I had never seen before (Nausicaa), so it was worth it.
