Stay Warm and Comfy!

We’ve seen an awful lot of snow in the past few weeks. It feels like it has been snowing every other day and I don’t remember seeing this much snow last year when I was on campus. Thankfully though, I’m pretty used to the cold. Winter back home in New York is pretty much the same as here in Boston. I remember every time before it snows, my parents would make me spread rock salts in front of our house just so we don’t have to worry about the sidewalks being slippery. Oh, and the shoveling? Always a nightmare. While I would much prefer any other seasons, staying in while it is snowing outside just makes you want to cuddle up in bed with a warm drink. I remember growing up, on the rarely occasion where there is a snow day and we weren’t forced to go to school during a snowstorm, I would always stay in bed for an extra hour just because I want to take full advantage of not having to go to classes. But now, obviously with online classes being a thing, we probably won’t be able to experience maybe snow days where we don’t have to attend classes any time soon. If you are free though, you should definitely try to stay in and relax. Go make a warm drink and wrap yourself in blankets while enjoying your favorite show, movie, or book. It’s nearly the end of February and spring is just around the corner. Hopefully we would be able to enjoy going out and safely meeting everyone once the weather gets warmer!
