September’s Gone

I can’t believe it’s already been one month of college. At the beginning of the semester, I dreaded the long months ahead of me that would be filled with work, school, and feeling constantly overwhelmed. And with the blink of an eye, one month of the four has already passed. My roommates and I have started apartment hunting in anticipation for our upcoming co-ops too! To think that within the next two weeks I’ll be applying for co-op is wild to think about. And within another 3 months I’ll be packing up my stuff, wrapping up my semester, and getting ready for my new 6 month journey.

Whoever said college goes by extremely quick is incredibly correct. It’s a bittersweet feeling because I know I’m getting closer to my goals but at the same time I’ll miss this period of life where I live with my closest friends, worry about classes, and enjoy life. This month was extremely eventful in the way I was forced to grow up within a matter of a week. Living in our own apartment, cooking for myself, managing my job, school, and social life all together.  Major events included: moving in and my birthday! If I could describe September in one word it’d be: busy. Whether it be creating content for NUGOAL, nights out with my roommates, meeting new friends, studying for Patho&Pharm, all of these made September fly by extremely quickly.

I’m super excited for October but not for it to get colder! It’s very telltale of New England for the weather to get chillier so quickly. I guess this is just a sign that the times are changing- and that time continues to fly by! Here’s to completing one month of the semester!
