During spring break, I went to Iceland with a couple good friends! I wasn’t expecting too much when I was planning the trip, but going was a totally different experience and I feel like I gained a lot of new perspective. The nature was absolutely stunning and we were blown away (literally and figuratively). I’ve been to a lot of national parks before, but it was a completely different experience driving to the middle of nowhere on a gravel path and seeing massive mountains that look like they haven’t ever been climbed before.
We also stayed in Reykjavik and I loved the vibes, but our first day was 36 hours long and we had 2 hours of sleep, so it was quite the fever dream. I’ve never been more scared for my life being shotgun for a driver who has to hunch over the wheel to stay awake… but we had lots of fun moments and I’m super excited to travel again!
