Lunar New Year Festivities

Xin nian kuai le! This past weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating the new year with my friends. I also had lots of fun hosting an event with my co-program coordinators in TASA, the Taiwanese American Student Association, on campus. We held a Lunar New Year Festival and organized five stations for our attendees to go through and collect a hongbao (red pocket) at the end! Towards the weekend, I had lots of delicious food and made dumplings from scratch. It felt really wholesome to do so much for the new year since I wasn’t at home and haven’t celebrated this much in past years. I’m glad this year got off to a great start and hope yours did too! Happy year of the rabbit!
