I may be a little jealous of my mom right now. While I am in Boston going to classes, she’s in Japan with my Aunt about to celebrate her birthday. My mom deserves this little vacation, and she hasn’t seen her sister in a few years because of COVID, but that doesn’t mean I can’t wish I was there too. It feels that my mom always travels when I can’t. In high school, she would go during AP season. Now I am in college and she goes once the semester starts.
It’s hard to be really upset though. My mom sends me the cutest pictures and then posts them on Instagram. I am happy that she is happy, but goodness I hope she plans to take me next time.
