Kevin’s Weekly Review Corner #1

So I like baking in my free time. I primarily use recipes online, but sometimes I do rely on premade doughs if I am in a time crunch. For example, puff pastry I try to never make at home due to how much time and effort it takes to make it. I also view gluten-free and other types of recipe substitutes as difficult due to my limited knowledge on that subject. Thus, comes the Sweet Loren chocolate chip cookie dough I found in Target. There is an understood fact that many recipes that replace ingredients like butter, eggs, and flour are vastly different from the original. However, the Sweet Loren cookies, different in their texture, were on par with regular cookies. These cookies were gluten-free, vegan, nut-free, and whole grain. But the taste was similar to other cookie dough recipes, the only downside was the slightly more crumbly texture. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to anyone.
