As an Asian-American, who wouldn’t go to an Asian supermarket and buy their favorite snacks and meals there? Pockys, mooncakes, Shin (as well as Buldak, Chapaguri, tonkotsu flavored, and laksa broth) ramen, mochi or matcha ice cream, Yakult drinks, and so much more an average person could think of bringing home in their weeny little bag. My personal experience there was actually pretty overwhelming mainly because of how “cozy” the grocery aisles were and the density of shoppers cramped up one-by-one between each halls. Not to mention, I was so devastated when they didn’t have the iconic Samanco fish-shaped ice cream that I longed to get my hands on for. Perhaps I should try going at a less busy time so I hopefully won’t get run over by crowds of Asian aunties getting their fresh meat and produce.
