I recently had the chance to try out the Ichiban Yakitori Sushi House near my residence. I did not order sushi or ramen, but I did try out their katsudon and yakitori. Their prices were pretty good for the amount of food served. However, I would say it would be better to try their sushi or ramen. The store is well known for these dishes as well as the yakitori, but I felt that the katsudon was not seasoned enough. Most of the seasoning was in the sauce, so the meat was left untreated. The yakitori was very good though, on the saltier side, but well-priced. Overall, from my initial experience, it is a good place to take people to try out yakitori and have well-made ramen according to what I saw from everyone else’s table.
