Happy Spring Semester!

Welcome to campus (and Boston) for those moving in for the first time! Hello to those who decided to stay home and join in through Zoom! And welcome back for those who have returned to campus! With the start of a new semester come with its own set of anticipation and challenges. Personally, I am very excited to finally start taking courses that focus specifically on my major. This semester I will be taking my Intro to Pharmacy Practice & Lab course where I will learn the different techniques and skills to become a good pharmacist that will prepare me for my first ever co-op this upcoming summer. Speaking of which, I am excited yet nervous about applying to my first ever co-op. A lot of my friends went through this process last semester and I have heard how exciting, yet anxious they were. But I took forward to researching and exploring the different types of career opportunities available for my major and for me to learn more about my future career!

Going back to the topic of classes, I am most definitely very nervous about my course load this semester. Although I have about the same number of exams as last semester and the semesters before, there seems to be a lot more miscellaneous assignments due here and there and I am very scared that I will somehow miss the deadline for them. But this just means that I would have to organize my time and tasks better and I am excited to start developing new habits that hopefully will allow me to stay on top of my work. For the most part, though, I am very excited to be back on campus again and be productive after a long (but well-deserved break). Being home for nearly a month for winter break allowed me to relax and spend more time with my family. However, at the same time, I realized how unproductive I was at home. Hopefully, with the change in environment will allow me to become more productive and motivated to get some work done!

Overall, I am very excited to be back on campus, start my co-op search process, take new and challenging courses, and continue being active in the Asian American community as an AAC intern. I hope you all are staying warm, safe, and healthy! Talk soon!
