Cold Udon

This past summer has been really hot, especially with the heat wave! To cool off, one of the best dishes I have recently tried is cold udon. I had the classic soba noodles, but I prefer the thicker udon noodles more. The first cold udon I ate was in New York at Raku and it was zaru udon which means it is eaten with a dipping sauce. The sauce had a quail egg that made it taste so yummy. Recently, I went to Cambridge to try Yume Ga Arukara which is known for its udon. They have their seats arranged like a classroom. Their spicy cold udon was delicious! After I was done eating, they rated how “well” I finished my noodles. I almost had a “perfect.”
