21st Birthday Weekend!

Last weekend, I finally turned 21! I usually always cry on my birthday but this year, I was too appreciative and joyful to even think of shedding a tear. The day started off the moment it turned midnight on the 24th- my nursing friends and I had just come back from a conjoined birthday dinner at Burro Bar for Danie and I since we have the same birthday. When we got back to Danie’s place, they ended up surprising us with cupcakes and gifts the moment it turned midnight. I was super exhausted from the day so soon after I went back to my place and headed to bed.

I woke up super excited because my mom was driving up from home to have lunch with me! We ended up going to Dakzen- a Thai street food restaurant in Cambridge which I would highly recommend. She then dropped Randy and I off at my boyfriend’s rugby game against Harvard where we got to cheer him on. They ended up winning 31-12!!

After the game, I took a LOOONG nap before getting ready for my birthday dinner. My friends met up at my place shortly before dinner and we all headed to Gyu-Kaku for  dinner! It made my heart warm to see all of the people I care about in one place, finally meeting each other. When we finished eating, we headed to Kat’s place where they decked out and surprised me with cake and balloons! We then got ready for the ultimate surprise of the night- a table at Icon!

We then headed to the club and had an awesome rest of the night. As long as I was with my friends, I didn’t care how my birthday was spent 🙂
