Howlin’ Husky Rewards may be the best app created by Northeastern. Orientation leads you to download any and every app that may be useful to a fun life on campus, but as a major sports fan, I have found the best. This app allows you to check into any Northeastern home sports game and claim a certain number of points. Those points can then be used to claim prizes, prizes I am now eager to win. The thing is, I already planned to go to a lot of sports games while at university, but after using this app I have much more incentive to be at every game I can.
This is all because I really want to win the Hockey Jersey that is worth 5000 points on the app. I don’t know if you had seen my previous post, but I have become a major hockey fan. At my first game, I realized how cool it is to wear a jersey as a fan and wanted to purchase one of my own, but it costs $90. As a broke college student, I could not in good faith purchase it ( 🙁 ) and have instead decided to use the Rewards app for all its worth. I am now at 1050 points and a fifth of the way to receiving a jersey. The jersey isn’t the only prize you can get, but for now, it’s the only prize I want.
