I took a Northeastern bus to Yarmouth, MA on Saturday. Once I got there, I went to Ann & Fran’s Kitchen for brunch. The atmosphere was very cute and cozy and the staff was extremely friendly. I got blackberry lemon pancakes and the veggie benny, which were both Delicious – highly recommend. Our order took a really long time because they messed up our order, but they apologized and offered us a free blueberry muffin (very moist and crumbly in the best way possible). Would definitely recommend you go if you are close by!
Then, I headed to Pirate’s Cove mini golf course. The reviews on Yelp were RAVING for this place, saying how creative the courses were. However, they were anything but! There was one hole inside a cave and that was fun, but the rest had little to no obstacles to spice things up and it was a little disappointing.
Lastly, I went to Parker’s River beach — a 20-something minute walk away from Pirate’s Cove. It was certainly…a beach. There was the ocean and sand. Nothing particularly scenic or worth raving about. However, there were swings and lots of seashells and I enjoyed 15 minutes there before having to catch the bus back to campus.
Shoutout to our Uber and Lyft drivers that day: Jonathan and Keith. 10/10.
