VSA Culture Show

The Vietnamese Student Association’s Culture Show was this past Sunday and it was SUCH a fun experience!

I was part of the fan dance and the fashion show and I had so much fun being on stage and hearing all the encouragement and being around people who want to learn about Vietnamese culture. The play was hilarious and taught so much about Vietnam and I’m so thankful for all the people who worked so hard to put together this show.

I do have to admit that I was pretty nervous during rehearsal. Nothing really went wrong per se, and in my mind I knew it was going to be something fun, but for some reason my stomach was still turning and I had to constantly take deep breaths. I think I psyched myself out, for no reason—everyone was so supportive and once again, I had a really great time!

I definitely want to participate again next year, where hopefully we’ll be seeing you? *wink wink*
