The Perfect Day

Last week, my friends and I visited Brattle Book Shop. We decided to take the scenic route and walked through the Commons to get there. Everything about it was perfect: it was 50 degrees, there were lots of dogs, and everyone seemed to share an inner joy that the sun brought upon us.

There was a guy sitting on one of the benches with a folded pizza box propped in front of him labeled “$1/PERSON DRAWINGS,” so we took up the deal and received a portrait of the three of us that now hangs in our room. And it was only $3!

When we finally arrived to Brattle, we spotted a cafe next to it and treated ourselves. That coffee from George Howell was the best coffee I have ever tasted in my entire life – and I say this with no exaggerations. My friend ordered an iced tea and she also felt the same way about her drink.

That whole day is what I define as my perfect day. Here’s to more perfect days to come!
