how do i know about royce chocolate? none other than the kdrama ‘strong woman do bong soon’, aka my favorite kdrama.
to be honest, i didn’t think i’d ever get to see a royce chocolate store in my daily life, but there it was on newbury street (pictured below).
my girlfriend and their best friend (visiting from canada) had both tried it before, and i was Appalled. since there were three of us and i had never tried it before, we decided to treat ourselves with a box of royce.
this experience was different than any i had ever before. yes, i looked around this luxurious store, as i do in any other luxurious store. but this time, i left having bought something! (not my money…but still.)
the woman at the register wrapped the box in this ^ insulating packaging
the verdict? delicious. delectable. melt-in-your-mouth, smooth, quality chocolate. i don’t know where else you’d try a chocolate like this, so i recommend to anyone to try! it’s fun to try with a few friends, so you can split the cost and discuss the chocolate while you’re eating it and pretend like you are chocolate connoisseurs.
