The First Week Home

Today marks the second full week since I came home from Boston. Last week, was quite uneventful. It was a stark contrast compared to the busy weeks I was now used to earlier this year. For one, there were no schedules and I spent most of my time with my family since everyone else I knew was still at their respective colleges. By the time Wednesday came, I was already desperate for the summer semester to begin just so I can do something again.

Now that I finished my first week of summer classes, it definitely feels different studying at home than studying at school. I have a class in the morning, so my mom is still around before she leaves for work. In the background of my Zoom class, you can see someone darting back and forth trying to water all of her plants. It’s not all bad, there is someone coming over with some breakfast too, which I greatly appreciate.

The next few weeks, a lot of my friends are coming back from school, so it is exciting to plan my week even more. I realized that I would rather be busy than doing nothing, and I am very excited for the coming weeks.
