I ONLY need salt and soap from Target.
I walk into Target with my friend thinking I would only pick up a mini bottle of salt and a quart-size container of soap. An hour later, I am at the self check out counter where I go beeping the 7 extra items I picked up on my leisure walk through the aisles.
ALWAYS HAPPENS!!!
There must be something special in the air at Target that makes me want everything I touch and see. Walking through the aisle, I see an eye-catching candle and I go, wait let me smell this candle, then I go this one doesn’t smell that nice, let me try this other one, and then I go OMG this one smells nice, I want it, and then it goes into my basket.
I gotta say though spontaneous target runs with friends is one of the HIGHLIGHTS of the college experience. Cracking jokes at diapers for our “middle school” friend, riding on top of a kid-size wooden rocking horse toy and falling off, accidentally wandering through the alcohol section acting like we were old enough to buy any of it, taking escalator window selfies and failing, finding a basket after walking through the aisles with your hands full feeling like you found treasure … The list just keeps going on …
