Side Quests

Last night, out of all the things I could’ve been doing, I was teaching my roommate how to roll her R’s. I’m not exactly sure how I learned to roll my R’s back in middle school, but six years of taking Spanish probably contribute a great deal to it. Two hours later, she almost had it and I felt very proud of how far she progressed once she set her mind to learning this skill.

Recently, I saw a post on social media about this pair of friends who see each other once a month and started giving each other “side quests” to complete by the next time they see each other. I thought this was a really fun idea to incorporate because accountability is ultimately what helps you to do things you put off. So here is my mini bucket list of side quests I hope to complete by the end of the semester:

  1. Learn how to whistle
  2. Learn how to crochet
  3. GET A JOB

I do hope all of these come true :’)
