My September was pretty good. It started off busy with the start of the semester and moving in, with a lot of events concentrated around a couple of days. I flew in to Boston from China two days before my move-in date, which ended up in a lot of rushed packing because I didn’t want to make more than one trip to transfer my things. The second day of school, I had my first shift as an AAC Intern and I played at a volleyball game for pep band. There weren’t a lot of assignments in the first week or two, so I had more time to go to club events and get groceries compared to how busy I’ve been now.
I really enjoyed catching up with my friends and asking about how their summers went. It’s been fun decorating the apartment too, as I’ve been collecting things from events I’ve attended and putting them up on the walls. And when it was the 21st, “September” played on repeat. The weekends were quite rainy though, so it rained out a couple of the plans I had made. I’m excited for the long weekend now, though it’s also going to rain!
