Recap of the Semester

As the semester comes to an end, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on how it went for me as well as on my accomplishments. The big thing for me this semester was definitely finding a co-op. It was a struggle especially with the high demand of co-ops as a lot of students moved their co-op cycle from Fall to Spring due to the in-person experience not being offered last semester. I grew so much from interview prep in terms of knowing my skills and improving my imposter syndrome, realizing what I want to do in the future, and growing more confidence in public speaking. Co-op search in itself has prepared me immensely for the real world and I’m beyond excited to be working hopefully in-person in the financial district in the Fall. Landing a co-op had to have been my greatest accomplishment so far. Getting vaccinated was also a highlight for me this semester. As I’m writing this, I’m feeling some side effects from the second dose, but I’m powering through! It’s really relieving know that this period of uncertainty, anxiety, and restriction that we’ve been living through is not permanent. This semester wasn’t the best for me academically, but I know that next semester will be a good break in terms of taking classes and I can focus on other things.
