Our Beloved Winter Pt.2

Yesterday, I attended an event hosted by ASU and CSA and went ice skating! I didn’t think too much about what I was getting myself into until I was lacing up my skates. The moment I stepped onto the ice, I knew I had greatly overestimated my nonexistent skating abilities. In little to no time, I became best friends with the wall. I was determined to skate around the rink at least once, which took me quite some time and getting lapped by four year old skating prodigies wasn’t exactly encouraging. However, I wouldn’t chalk this experience up as a bad one. In fact, I had a lot of fun trying something new. I was also strangely comforted by the sheer amount of people that tried to help me or offered words of encouragement.

At the end of the night, my friend and I made dinner at home and watched the last few episodes of Our Beloved Summer. We were quite emotionally attached to this show and laughed, cried, screamed, and sobbed at the screen. From the cinematography to the original soundtrack to the actors and actresses, everything about this kdrama was a *chef’s kiss*. I strongly encourage you to watch it if you like romantic comedies and touching, well-developed backstories.

Stay warm and good luck on your studies/work!
