It could be just me, but my childhood was filled with watching Ultraman. For those that are unfamiliar with this TV show, Ultraman is kinda like Power Rangers, if there were only one person. The plot of every episode is that a monster tries to tear up the city. While the military tries to defeat it, they are never strong enough. Therefore, Ultraman has to come to the rescue.
There are many Ultraman and each has their own TV show. The one that I grew up watching the most was Ultraman Tiga. But there are also movies that starred many Ultraman in one movie, working together to defeat the final boss.
Looking back at this and doing research, I didn’t realize that they are still constantly releasing new movies. I’m guessing a large portion of people still watch this otherwise they wouldn’t keep making new movies. There’s even an Ultraman fan page/wiki.
