I’ve always tended to procrastinate but like planning & organizing. This year, I found myself taking on more responsibilities that I thought I’d be able to handle. I was very stressed but here’s how I stay on track:
Google Calendar
- Filter by type: Courses, Coop, Personal, Clubs, Employment, etc
- Gives me reminders when everything is coming up
- You can attach locations & online meetings to each box
- Put major tasks due times (happy marking it was complete)
This is a lifesaver
Notion
I picked up Notion recently and just love how organized and fun you could make it. It took a few hours to make but you get the hang of it all pretty quickly!
~ It’s so cute and customized the way I like it (makes me want to do more work)
~ lets you create many databases where you could really keep track of info (to do lists, long term projects, due dates)
~ you can even collaborate with others & share tasks with your team (I used for Women in Finance)
Notion really helps me go in depth with tasks & keep relevant info for each task/club while google calendar gives a general gist.
For me:
Google calendar –> get here now… do this now
Notion –> here’s what you can use to do it…don’t forget these
These two help keep my year together for now -.-
