Growing up, I had the opportunity to try different hobbies like skateboarding, swimming, and playing the flute. However, dance was my favorite hobby and the only one I stuck with till this day. I have been dancing since I was 7 years old and I started out in ballet and traditional dance styles. In high school, I started taking lessons in hip hop and street jazz. I love to dance because it allows me to creatively express myself through movement. At Northeastern, I am involved in various dance clubs and orgs such as ASU Dance, KADA, and No Limits. In fact, I am one of the choreographers for the ASU Culture Show! I am super excited and you should come and watch us perform!!

WOWOWOW! V impressive that you’re choreographing for a whole show! I couldn’t imagine. I skated my whole life, and choreography was def not my strong suit. I just don’t think I can be creative that way… but, I loved doing “interp,” which is when we’d just move freely to whatever the chosen music was.
