A food dish that reminds me of home would probably be lumpia. If you don’t know, lumpia is known as being Filipino egg rolls. When I think of a food from home, I think of how my dad makes lumpia. Not sure what it is that makes it so special, but I know he makes the best lumpia. When I went back home to Orlando in March, my aunt had made some lumpia but it just did not hit the same as my how my dad makes his lumpia. It is also just a fun family memory, thinking of how we would make the filling and roll it all together on our family dining table.
