Kelly Marie Tran

Kelly Marie Tran’s story begins with growing up in America and seeing her immigrant parents from Vietnam being superheroes, working extremely hard everyday, and inspiring her to have the strong work ethic she has today. She has quickly grown to become known as a captivating on-screen presence, and has broken several major barriers. From playing the first Disney princess of Southeast Asian descent in Raya and the Last Dragon to being the first woman of color to have a leading role in a Star Wars movie to being the first Asian woman to appear on the Vanity Fair cover, Kelly has truly brought inspiration to many. She also stepped into the role of executive producer on two projects, Lily Topples The World and Summertime, and played a few other roles in other movies, including The Croods, Monsterland, and much more. Her performance and character has been widely praised, and has made headlines across the globe. Kelly Marie Tran’s passion radiates through her successes of being the first at these very things in breaking barriers, and further, through her desires to make sure that she will not be the last doing these things by opening these doors for other people who have historically not been able to exist in this very exclusive space.
