A little late but a couple weeks ago, I went to the Joji Concert at RoadRunner. I’ve listened to Joji the past couple years so seeing him in real life and performing on stage was so cool. He performed a bunch of his popular songs, and even some from his old Soundcloud. I really enjoyed his performance and there were a bunch of funny moments that happened during the concert.
Here’s a list of some of my favorite parts of the concert:
- He played “Gary Come Home” from Spongebob
- He said he was going to show us a new unreleased song and played “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran
- Started playing Smash onstage (and lost)
- There were so many pink guys in the crowd and they chose one to play rock, paper, scissors with
- Said he loves stimulating the local economy and brought out an Elvis impersonator
- Brought out a catapult and used it to throw merch into the crowd
Of course, I loved the music too and I literally lost my voice from screaming the lyrics. We love Joji and if you’re in your bag he has some songs you can listen to lol
