Hi,
For those who don’t know me, I am Wen! I am a Third Year Honors Student majoring in Finance and Economics with a Data Science Minor. I grew up in a small white farming community in Kentucky, so coming here was a huge change for me. A fun fact is that I was the only student in my graduating class who went out of state for school. That should provide insights into the town that I grew up in. I feel incredibly grateful for the supportive community and the wonderful opportunities in my life today. Among these opportunities, my role as an AAC intern allows me to authentically express myself in a safe and inviting environment.
As for what happened in the Summer, the next day after my co-op ended, I flew to Korea for a study abroad at Yonsei University. And my god was this one of the best decisions that I ever made. There is so much to love about Korea that I was hesitant to come back to the US. The only icky thing about this trip was the weather. It was either too hot or pouring rain. What I regret is not staying longer or spending the extra 3 weeks exploring different parts of Asia. Now, I have to buy the plane ticket again if I want to go back to Asia ;(
If you ever want to know more about me or see me one day, don’t hesitate to call my name! 99% of the time, I am in a nice mood and would love to catch up/learn more about you.
Have Fun,
Wen Zheng
