“iCloud Storage is Full”

Naturally, we see the world through our eyes and observations. If you’re not careful, you will cease to understand the grand scheme of life through different whimsical perspectives and uncommon opinions. When my roommates get back from seeing a movie, I’ll ask each one to recount their experience even though they technically did the same thing. But to me, I relish in how each person pays attention to different details and the nuances in their word choices. Aside from using words as a medium to express your perceptions on the world around us, my weapon of choice growing up was my trusty DSLR camera.

In the hazy memories of my early childhood, I remember the weight of my father’s camera in my hand and the satisfying shutter click under my pointer finger. Oh how I loved this newfound power of freezing time into pixels! My initial fascination was fueled into a long passion that still carries with me till today. If I were to begin speaking in a stream of consciousness about my favorite styles of photography, I’d probably start by telling you about cinematographic photography and the art of “framing”.

Color me a sentimental person or even a “memory hoarder” of sorts by the sheer amount of photos I’ve accumulated over the years – the photo storage in my phone is resting at a cool 39,275 at the moment (and I’m sure it’ll reach 40k in no time!). But, better to have taken the photo than regret it afterwards! So go on and take that photo of your delicious meal, a .5 selfie of you and your friends, and that cool leaf on the ground!
