Personally, I’m not someone who likes to try a lot of different things on my free time. I prefer to go back to the things I already love doing to relax and pass time destressing. Unfortunately, pharmacy school does not leave you with a lot of free time. I am always studying, doing assignments, or working so I like to have the small amount of free time I have doing things that already bring me joy. I think my favorite thing to do is to follow sports. I grew up playing sports, soccer until middle school and football in high school. Even though I don’t play club or varsity sports anymore, I still enjoy playing intramural sports with my friends. I also watch football and soccer games, mainly when the teams I support play (LA Rams for football and Tottenham Hotspurs for soccer). I am on fantasy leagues. Another thing I like to do is to play the drums. I play at my church, and I think it’s a good way for me to stay in touch with my creative side.
