Hi everyone!
My name is Casey (she/her) and I’m a third year Nursing major from Orlando, Florida. I just recently finished my co-op where I worked at BIDMC on their Hematology/Oncology floor as a PCT, so if you ever have any questions about nursing co-ops or my experience, feel free to reach out! I really enjoyed my unit and spent a lot of my semester working overtime.
That kind of burned me out, so as of recently I’m a big homebody, especially while it’s cold right now. So I enjoy staying home, cooking and baking. Usually when it’s not cold and I’m not feeling too lazy, I like to go out, dress up, take pictures, see new places, try different restaurants, that type of stuff!
Something interesting about me is I have met Beabadoobee! I met her at her Boston concert in November 2021. She had finished playing at Royale, and we waited until after her show had finished, went around to the back alley, and it turns out a bunch of people had also been waiting. She met and took pictures with a bunch of people and was very sweet and chill. I don’t listen to her too much anymore though, I listen to a lot of R&B, rap, hip hop, and Spanish music now.
Over Winter break, I couldn’t go home since I was still working at my co-op, so my family came up for Christmas instead! I hosted Christmas at my apartment and had family from Paris and the Philippines come over. Afterwards, we took the train up to New York for New Years.
