Friendly Reminder: Corona is not over!

I’m sure you all know the Coronavirus spread has gotten worse in Massachusetts this week. It has been a good 10 months since the virus had spread to the United States and I think it is time for another recap of what to do and what not to do.

To Do:

  • Obviously, wear masks or face coverings!! I cannot even tell you how many times I have seen people in public without a face covering or masks on. Come on guys, we’re in the midst of a pandemic.
  • Sanitize or wash your hands. Wash your hands through the Happy Birthday song twice when you get the opportunity to. If not, carry around portable hand sanitizers or use the ones on counters at literally every store or restaurant. Hand sanitizers are not that difficult to get your hands on anymore…
  • Keep AT LEAST a 6 foot distance in public spaces. Stranger danger! Keep away!

Not To Do:

  • Attend parties. Or host them. Oh my goodness… Last week, there was a party on the upstairs floor of my apartment… please don’t do anything that would put your friends and family in danger.
  • Poke holes in your mask. Yes, I have seen people do this in Boston… just don’t do it.
  • Wear your masks incorrectly. I have seen a lot of noses poking out of those masks.
  • Touch your face or mask. This increases your chances of getting infected. Don’t put yourself in danger like that.

Please follow these… I want to travel in the summer. I’m sure all of you do, too. No, the pandemic is not over. And yes, it will never be over if we don’t comply with these rules.
