Favorite Thing To Do Growing Up

Growing up, I had a strong passion in arts and crafts. I developed a love for needlework during my elementary years. My school librarian at the time held workshops every Mondays, and that’s where I first began to learn cross-stitching. She also inspired me to learn how to knit, and eventually, I taught myself how to crochet. Freshman year of high school, I decided to take a fashion design class as an elective, where I learned to sew made my very own Vera Bradley- inspired tote bag 😻.

After that, I stopped pursing this hobby and decided to focus on school work. It wasn’t until I got to college, where I found some time to pick up crocheting again. I’ve made many plushies ever since, and am currently trying to get better at making clothing pieces. I also have plans to sell my creations in the future (hmu 👀) !!

  • OMG. When you start selling your stuff, please let me know. I’d love to see some of your creations!! I also did a lot of crafts and things growing up (mostly with my mom, her favorite craft was making rubber stamps), and just recently started investing more time into it again. I crocheted a lot this past year and I really enjoy it. It’s such a mindless yet rewarding craft!
