My favorite childhood pastime was watching cartoons on DVDs. Some of my favorite shows were Doraemon (哆啦A梦), Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit (虹猫蓝兔), Big Head Son and Small Head Dad (大头儿子和小头爸爸), Big-Eared TuTu (大耳朵图图), and Pleasant Goat and the Big Big Wolf (喜洋洋与灰太狼). Doraemon is about a blue robot cat that came from the future, and he has a magical pocket with different gadgets. He came to the present to help out this little boy, Nobita, with different challenges. Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit is about the two main characters going on a journey to defeat the antagonist. Big Head Son and Small Head Dad and Big-Eared TuTu are similar shows with similar themes. Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf is about a village of goats and a wolf keeps attempting to enter the village to eat the goats but he fails every episode (spoiler). My bias in this show is Paddi (the lazy goat).

Doraemon was a staple in my household growing up too! We literally had a Doraemon robot in my house… I don’t know where it came from but it was like a real-life Doraemon. Very odd. Can’t wait to read the rest of your blogs this semester!
