My favorite artist is Van Gogh because I really like his Starry Night painting. When I look at the painting, it represents calmness and soothingness (in my head I am picturing the warm breezes in the sky while enjoying the view of the stars and moon). However, I just searched up the meaning of the Starry Night and I was surprised to find out that the Starry Night actually represents sadness and has a sad backstory.
