Escape room co-op games

Last weekend, I had a phase of playing lots of escape room type puzzle games with my one of my high school friends. We played Unboxing the Cryptic Killer and Unsolved (which is the sequel to unboxing the Cryptic Killer), and the original We Were Here game. I absolutely adore these types of games and I really enjoy the type of thinking that they challenge you to do. Unboxing the Cryptic Killer and Unsolved were both relatively short, with fun comic-style graphics with what I would call relatively straightforward puzzles. I would recommend it for those who are looking to play escape room type games for the first time, as its laid out in a way that makes figuring out where to go pretty easy. We Were Here had more of an eerie vibe with more retro graphics, with a higher sense of urgency as there were more opportunities for you to die. It wasn’t as straightforward and there was a lot more searching through a lot of potential clues to figure out what to do. I had a blast and recommend playing any of these games.
