Dumpling Daughter

Fiending for a snack in Cambridge, I tried Dumpling Daughter. I ordered their double seared Shanghainese pork buns and expected quick service – a standard bun, a piece of home. But the wait was longer than I anticipated and my hunger was impatient. After around 15 minutes, the buns came out and I understood why the wait was so long. These buns were beautiful, to say the least. Crunchy bottom, delectably soft inside, covered in a sweet spicy soy sauce. One bite and I almost cried tears of happiness. This was not a piece of home, but a bite of heaven.
