I was craving oyakodon this week so I decided to try out Cafe Mami. I obviously got their oyakodon, which came with pickled radish and miso soup. Because I had a 50% off code, I also got a chicken katsu curry also with miso soup as well as a side salad. I would highly recommend this location because there was so much for the price. The oyakodon had a very soft egg enveloping onions and chicken. The chicken katsu curry had a delicious curry that wasn’t too sweet, as Japanese curry is very different to other curries like Indian style. The side salad was mostly lettuce and dressing, but I really enjoyed the freshness of cutting the oil from the katsu. It was definitely a lot of food which lasted me two days to eat through. The location is rather far though as it is located near Cambridge.
